🔧 Features

Full Privacy

Decentralized, encrypted, and peer-to-peer by design.

Direct Connections

Use bootstrap hosts for easy onboarding or run your own private network hosts for full control.

Secure by Default

Connections use end-to-end encryption.

Cross-Platform

Windows, Linux, Linux ARM (Raspberry Pi and Orange Pi), and Android supported.

🌐 Public Bootstrap, Private Ownership

Public NoLimitConnect infrastructure hosts are available to help new users get started.

Note: The public NLC Network host also runs a Random Connect Host. It is just there for testing.

Do not expect any responses to messages sent to any devices joined in that host.

Feel free to poke around or join with 2 of your own devices for communication between them though.

The long-term goal is still private ownership:

  • Run your own Network Host and Connection Test Host.
  • Keep control of your own community and policies.
  • Avoid central lock-in while staying compatible with the wider network.

Need Direct Connections Without Router Configuration?

If your ISP blocks ports or uses strict NAT, you can still get green direct-connect status by using a VPN that supports automatic port forwarding.

Hide.me VPN is the best low-cost, cross-platform option I have found for this use case. It offers:
- Automatic port forwarding
- UPnP support
- Direct connection even behind CGNAT
- Strong privacy with a strict no-logs policy
